Actor Sylvester Madu has led a candle procession for his colleague Junior Pope and other film practitioners who died in a boat accident on April 10.
The actor and several of his colleagues including Pete Edochie’s son Linc Edochie marched together around the city of Enugu with burning candles and pictures of those who died in the boat mishap.
In a viral video, some of the mourners who were dressed in an all-black outfit with a customised shirts with Junior Pope and others’ face could be seeing shedding tears and they walked around the city.
The candlelight procession was also held in other parts of the country including Rivers State, Lagos, Kwara, Abuja, Anambra and Delta.
Junior Pope passed away on the night of April 10 after several attempts to resuscitate him failed. The actor alongside make-up artist Abigail Frederick, and the production crew; Friday, Olanti and Precious drowned in Anam River on their way back from the set of Another Side of Life, a movie produced by Adanma Luke.
