Ex-Big Brother Naija star, Khafi, has received condolence messages from fellow ex-housemate and friend, Tacha, Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi and other celebrities and fans over the death of her brother, Alexander Kareem who was shot and killed in London on Monday.
Tacha shared an Instagram post similar to the one Khafi posted shortly after the news of her brother’s death was made public.
She posted a black square with the words, ’00:40′ and a broken heart emoji.
It is still unclear what the caption means.
Adesua left her message in the comment section of Khafi’s Instagram post, writing, “Oh my darling! I’m so sorryyyyy…you and your family are in my prayers. So so sorry Khafi.”
Other celebrities who left condolence messages in the comments section include another actress, Beverly Naya and fellow former housemates, Elozonam and Sir Dee.
Beverly wrote, “You’re in my thoughts and prayers Khafi, my condolences once more.”
“I’m so sorry Khafi, May the almighty grant you the strength to face the times ahead, be strong sis, you shall overcome,” Sir Dee wrote.
And Elozonam wrote, “I’m so sorry Khafi. May God give you and your family the fortitude to bear this heavy loss. May his soul rest in peace.”
A post-mortem determined that the 20-year-old died from gunshot wounds to his stomach and abdomen, Sky News reports.
Alexander has been described by his friends as a “happy and goofy person who always had a smile on his face.”
