Reality TV star Tacha has become the topic of discussion on social media following her recent claims that Big Brother Naija did not help her career.
Her comment has continued to elicit mixed reactions, with some Nigerians accusing her of being “ungrateful” on social media.
The 25-year-old called out celebrities attacking her personality and encouraging her to be humble.
She revealed that she battled depression following the mockery that accompanied her disqualification from the show.
The self-acclaimed Port Harcourt’s first daughter took to her Twitter page to vent on Friday.
“Trust me y’all do not want to have this conversation!! Stay Humble Stay Humble is what got me out of depression??? Where was this energy when y’all mocked, jammed to music and celebrated my supposed “DOWN FALL??” One of her tweets read.
“Y’all had blue tick account pushing out narratives and rejoicing here and there!! You lots killed goat sef join to celebrate! But yeah it was OK to HATE ON TACHA! My mental health didn’t matter! If I died from depression it didn’t matter! It was all ACCEPTABLE FUN.” she wrote in another tweet.
Tacha was one of the housemates from the fourth season of Big Brother Naija. Her stay in the house was marred with controversies. At some point, she was disqualified from the reality TV show for breaking the house rules.
The entrepreneur has since amassed a huge fan base known as Titans and snagged endorsement deals in addition to increased popularity — a development many attributed to her stint on the show.
