Nottingham Forest forward Taiwo Awoniyi has arrived in Nigeria and paid a visit to Ilorin, Kwara State capital following the end of the 2022/23 football season.
The 25-year-old shared videos of his visit on Instagram.
Awoniyi visited Ilorin to motivate young players in an ongoing competition, sports journalist Pooja tweeted on Wednesday.
Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka also recently visited Ilorin to see his grandparents.
Awoniyi’s goals saved Nottingham Forest from relegation from the Premier League last season.
