The Fountain of Life Church in Lagos has announced that its founding pastor Taiwo Odukoya will be buried on September 9, 2023.
The church stated this via Instagram on Friday.
It also said the service of songs will be held on September 8, 2023, adding that further information will be announced.
Odukoya died on August 7 in the United States. He was aged 67.
Announcing his death, the church said, “The Fountain of Life Church Family, in total submission to the will of God Almighty, announces the passing unto greater glory of our Father, our Teacher, a great servant of the Most High God Pastor Daniel Taiwo Odukoya, Founding Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, who passed unto glory on the 7th of August 2023 in the USA.
“We are in total submission to you LORD!!! We thank the Lord for the gift of a great leader!!!”

Odukoya’s death comes about two months after he celebrated his late wife Nomthi on her posthumous birthday.
Nomthi died on November 9, 2021, following a two-year battle with cancer.
Odukoya’s twin sister Kehinde Hassan died in December 2021.
The cleric wedded Nomthi, a South African, in January 2010, five years after his first wife Pastor Bimbo Odukoya died on December 11, 2005 from injuries sustained in a plane crash.
