England U-21 star, Tammy Abraham, could make a shocking U-turn to represent Nigeria instead of the Three Lions at senior level.
Abraham has been the subject of interest from both nations with the Chelsea forward, on loan at Swansea, earlier turning down the Super Eagles.
But it appears that may have changed, especially after Gernot Rohr’s team booked a place in next year’s FIFA World Cup in Russia.
“There are a lot of things going on,” the youngster said ahead of England’s U-21 qualifier against Andorra.
“For me that is a sign you are doing something right if Nigeria are fighting for you and England want you as well.
“I’m happy right now and just want to keep playing my football.
“Nothing has happened. I’m not too sure what is going on.”
Abraham has hit the ground running swiftly with two goals in seven games in only his first taste of Premier League football.
He has represented England at various youth levels including the U-18’s and 19’s.
