Big Brother Africa star, Tayo Faniran, is set to join the cast of popular soap opera Tinsel from Monday, August 17, 2015. He’ll be replacing Gbenro Ajibade to play the character Soji.
However, this change is temporary till Gbenro gets back from his honeymoon with wife Osas Ighodaro.
The Maiduguri native who got married in a lavish traditional ceremony in Benin on June 20, 2015 to girlfriend Osas went on to have his white wedding in New York on July 4, 2015.
This is not the first time Tinsel is using a stand-in character. In 2014 one of the key characters on the series, Angela Dede, played by Matilda Obaseki-Mozia was temporarily replaced by another actress, Theresa Edem.
