Prophetess Yinka, a former senior member of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) has recounted how the church’s founder, the late Prophet TB Joshua, recalled her from the Ghana branch in 2004 to organise his trip to South Africa.
The cleric narrated what happened in a message tagged Overcome Your Fear posted on her Instagram and Facebook pages on Saturday.
Assuring her followers that God takes care of His own and that the fear of the LORD gives courage in the face of life’s trouble, Yinka said “I remember in 2004 September, l was in Ghana Branch, my mentor Prophet TB Joshua of blessed memory called me to come back to Nigeria and take a lead with two others to South Africa to organise for his coming to South Africa.
“Brethren, I told Prophet, l said ‘daddy l am afraid!’
“Of course, it is a good thing to travel but I don’t know where the fear was coming from.
“If l had my way then l would have rejected it, but the prophet said to me, ‘No the LORD had chosen you to go for this assignment.’
“I felt am undeserved of this grace LORD. But prophet told me, the fear l had proved the glory that lies ahead of the journey. I took the prophet by his word.
“Brethren l went, it was a successful journey to the glory of God. Lives were saved, nations were transformed and the name of the LORD indeed was glorified.”
Born Oluyinka Egbejobi, Prophetess Yinka became born again in SCOAN and was one of the prophets commissioned by TB Joshua.
According to information on her website, Yinka started accompanying Joshua to international ministrations in 2004 and played a leading role in international crusades and meetings held by the church worldwide.
Speaking about her days in SCOAN, Yinka wrote on her website “I lived with my mentor for almost 26 years until September 17, 2021, when I got the news that my mother had gone to be with the Lord.”
