Promise Joshua, daughter of the late televangelist and founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet TB Joshua, has earned a master’s degree in public administration (MPA) in the United States.
Ms Joshua bagged the degree at Columbia University in New York, USA.
One of the wisemen of the late Joshua, Christopher Orji, revealed this via Instagram on Monday.
Orji described Promise as an “incredible achiever”, adding that she persevered to the end despite the challenges.
He said, “Congratulations to an incredible achiever! Despite all the obstacles and unforeseen circumstances along the way, you persevered and made it to the end.”
Orji, who shared his location to be Enugu State in his post, also wished her a happy graduation.
“Wishing Miss Promise Joshua a happy graduation as she bagged a Master’s Degree in Public Administration (MPA) at Colombia University in New York, USA,” he said.
Promise is the second daughter of Joshua. The first is Serah while the last child is called Heart.
Promise studied international relations and politics at the London School of Economics the same school where her sister Serah had her first degree. Serah is the only one married among her siblings. She is married to Brian Moshi, a Tanzanian.
Joshua’s daughters do not have social media accounts.
Promise was the vocal one among Joshua’s daughters at the time it was alleged in 2021 that her mother Evelyn was threatening a member of the board of trustees of SCOAN Joseph David and other leaders of the church because she wanted to take over leadership of the church.
She denied that the family was chasing away those who worked with her father.
“The constitution of the church was followed to the latter and that was how my mum became a trustee. The day it happened, concerned members of the church appealed to the Corporate Affairs Commission and everything was done legally,” Promise said.
