Christopher Tonge, founder of God’s Heart TV and disciple of the late Prophet TB Joshua, has announced his wedding date.
Brother Chris, as is he is fondly called from his days at the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), announced in a statement on Sunday published on his Facebook page that he and Allison will be wedding in Colombia on September 18.
Allison, a Colombian, was a translator at the SCOAN before Joshua’s sudden death on June 5, 2021.
“I am excited to share with you all that Allison and I are getting married on Sunday, 18th September 2022 in Colombia. When God speaks and hearts agree, there is no reason for delay!” Chris wrote in his statement.
He noted that since they announced their engagement on August 14 they have been inundated with messages of support.
“We have both been touched by the outpouring of love, support and encouragement since we announced our engagement last month. It’s a privilege to know our story provided some hope, inspiration and strength!” He said.
Chris assured that he and Allison will continue to share their journey of love and faith with their followers, adding that pictures and video of their special day will be published on God’s Heart TV.
Chris and Allison met in June 2014 at a crusade held by Joshua in Colombia. Allison was one of the translators at the crusade.
In a video posted to YouTube last month, Chris stated that Allison put her education aside to serve at the SCOAN.
According to him, Allison has been an integral part of God’s Heart TV since joining.
