Apostle John Chi Mey, a disciple of the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Prophet TB Joshua, has paid a visit to the President of Dominica, Sylvanie Burton.
The clergyman posted pictures of his visit to her on Instagram on Thursday, May 23.
John Chi, as he is popularly called from his days at SCOAN, was dressed in a navy blue suede jacket and a black pair of trousers to meet the president.
He was accompanied by his wife Esther and some senior members of his church.
John Chi presented a bible to Mrs Burton and shook hands with her as they posed for photographs.
His wife also shook hands with Burton and joined in taking photos.
“Apostle John Chi’s Courtesy call with the President of Dominica,” the cleric captioned the photos.
Burton is the first woman to lead the mountainous Caribbean island nation.
John Chi will be in Tanzania from June 7 to 8 for a crusade tagged ‘Heal Our Land Africa.’
While many of Joshua’s disciples have been building ministries that trade on his public image, none has replicated his legacy in scale and structure as thoroughly as John Chi – a Cameroonian national who left SCOAN in 2013.
Both the physical exterior and interior of his Ark of God’s Covenant Ministry in Cameroon, resemble the mother church in Lagos. So do John Chi’s sermons and live-streamed services.
Like SCOAN, John Chi’s ministry has incorporated multiple British entities with Companies House, the UK government’s official company register.
