Frank Logan, founder of Faith, Hope and Love (FHL) Ministries and a disciple of the late Prophet TB Joshua, celebrated the second posthumous birthday of his mentor with the indigents in Kano.
A team from FHL visited Sabon Gari market in Kano and distributed food and drinks to the public in Joshua’s memory.
Frank posted a video from the outing on Instagram on June 12 which was Joshua’s posthumous birthday.
Explaining the essence of his ministry, Frank captioned the video, “We are here to build faith, give hope and show love to this generation in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ. Are you weary? Are you troubled, tormented, and feel trapped? Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, ‘Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.'”
A young woman, who appeared in the video wearing a Faith, Hope and Love Ministries’ branded T-shirt, gave a brief insight to the reason behind the gesture.
“During his lifetime, he (that is Joshua) occasionally served delicious meals and other resources to the community as he has always taught us that we should give less to ourselves and more to others,” she said.
The video also captured the FHL team distributing food and water to the people.
One of the recipients, a blind man, prayed in Hausa for the FHL team in this manner, “God bless you all for providing this food, for remembering us. Your children will not die young. They will not have accident when they are moving around. God almighty will not allow your situation to be like ours. You will all return home safely.”
A woman urged the team to also provide them with clothing next time.
