Christopher Orji, one of the wisemen of the late founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Prophet TB Joshua, clocked a year older on Friday.
After his departure from SCOAN, Orji founded The City of Jesus International Ministry (COJIM).
The ministry celebrated him on Instagram and also continued its warning to the public not to fall to people bent on using Orji’s name to commit fraud.
The statement by the ministry reads, “The man of God, Christopher Orji can never reply to your comment asking for any form of aid be it for the church or for any orphanage! Be guided!!!
“Kindly report impersonators using the name of man of God Christopher Orji to reply to people in comment section and the scammers posting unclean messages and dirty links in the comment section.”
Orji was one of five wisemen appointed by Joshua to stand as his most senior mentees. Others were Racine, Daniel, John Chi and Greece-based Harry.
Celebrating him in an Instagram post, Wiseman Daniel said, “Happy Birthday to our brother @cojimofficiel, soul winner, kingdom builder, and man of integrity. We love you from the Everlasting Light of Hope International Ministry, we wish you a happy birthday and continue the work of salvation believing that on the last day, we shall be glorified at last. God bless you my wonderful brother in the Lord.”
One of Joshua’s disciples Justin Rees also celebrated Orji on Instagram.
He said, “Happy Birthday to Wise Man Christopher! May the grace of our Lord, Jesus Christ, the love of God and the sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you, now and forevermore, in Jesus name!”
Since leaving SCOAN, Orji has not stopped identifying with the megachurch and Joshua’s legacy.
