Pastor Evelyn Joshua, wife of the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Prophet TB Joshua, on Friday, February 9, 2024 held a revival meeting in Ghana.
The meeting, which began at noon, was held at the church’s branch in the neighbouring West African country and broadcast live on Emmanuel TV.
This comes one month after the BBC published a documentary which was critical of Joshua on January 8.
On her arrival in the capital city of Accra on Thursday, February 8, Evelyn and her team of evangelists from Lagos were received at the Kotoka International Airport by a jubilant crowd of Ghanaians and citizens of other nations who entertained them with cultural displays, including music and dance.
After exchanging pleasantries with them, Evelyn turned her attention to the children who presented her with a bouquet.
More Ghanaians went on social media to welcome her to their country.
Augustus Annas wrote, “Welcome to Ghana, Woman of God. We are blessed to have you here. Thank God for your life.”

South Africa-based Evangelist AM Bonokwane Ministries stated its love for Joshua’s wife also on social media.
“We love you here in South Africa. Mama God bless you always,” the platform wrote on Joshua’s Facebook page.
As Ghanaians and citizens of other nations danced and celebrated her arrival, the clergywoman waved in admiration.
Moments later, a long motorcade accompanied her into the busy streets of Accra.
At the venue of the meeting on Friday, worshippers arrived in their colourful attires bearing their countries’ flags.
After the opening prayer and songs, the congregants stood for the rendition of the Ghana national anthem.
