Burial attendees were covered in tears on Saturday at the funeral of Ibidun Ighodalo, wife of Lagos-based preacher and founder of Trinity House, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo.
The closely-guarded event saw a number of high-profile individuals attend including Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, who represented Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki.
The immediate past emir of Kano and former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Lamido Sanusi, was also at the event alongside popular publisher, Dele Momodu.
The funeral service was aired live via the church’s social media platforms.
Also present was Pastor Idowu Oluyomade, Personal Assistant to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
Ibidun died on June 14 in her hotel room in Port Harcourt, Rivers State where she had gone to set up a coronavirus isolation centre.
She would have been 40 years old on July 19.
