Showbiz promoter Tunji Balogun, better known as Teebillz, has publicly apologised to media personality Toke Makinwa after previously shading her over her criticism of singer 2Baba’s public announcement of separation from Annie Idibia.

In January, Toke had questioned why singer Innocent “2Baba” Idibia made the announcement, declaring her support for Annie and vowing to defend her.

Teebillz responded by mocking Toke, sharing an old photo of himself, his ex-wife Tiwa Savage and their son in pajamas.

In his caption, he suggested that having a child with a man brings a level of love and forgiveness Toke had yet to understand.

He also referenced past comments she had made about him.

Amid backlash, Teebillz later apologised during an Instagram live session with OAP Daddy Freeze, admitting that he had reacted emotionally.

He said his message was misunderstood and questioned Toke’s involvement in Annie’s life.

Now, in a fresh update on Saturday, Teebillz shared a photo of Toke on Instagram, offering a more direct apology.

“My sincere apologies, TM. I jumped the gun and goofed… I honestly acted out of character because of the unconditional love I have for Annie & King 2…

“My action was based on expired knowledge and lack of understanding of the current occurrences… I hope you spare my ignorance,” he wrote.

He also expressed a desire to apologise privately, admitting that his actions mirrored what he had accused Toke of.

“Jamil can’t find out I disrespected one of his favorite aunties… What example am I setting? Blessings & Love, TM 💛,” he added.
