Comedian, Bovi, has asked late reggae singer, Majek Fashek, to plead with Tina Ezekwe, who was shot by a trigger-happy policeman and Uwaila Omozuwa, who was raped and killed in a Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) on behalf of Nigerians.
The 40-year-old made the plea when he shared a tribute to the Benin-born singer, on Instagram on Tuesday.
“Dear Majek, thank you for blessing us with your prophesies, your messages and your spirit. As you journey to the great beyond, help us beg Uwa to forgive us.
“Tell her that if her blood cries for vengeance, it will follow offsprings who had no hand in the matter…lease tell MLK that over 50 years after he died, his America is witnessing the type of riots that sprang up when he was killed. Please tell Fela that everything he said still remains relevant till today…Help me stroll to the chapel, find my mama. You will know her from her smile. Give her a warm embrace from me…,” he wrote.
The death of Majek Fashek, who was fondly called the Rainmaker, was confirmed by his manager, Omenka Uzoma, on Tuesday.
“I have been having pressure calls from all over. Yes, it is true that the legend has gone to be with the Lord.
“Let’s celebrate him, his achievements and his family. Whatever decisions made by his immediate family will be notified,” he said in a video shared on social media.
