Singer Davido has said that his colleague Teni chased him in traffic just to get a collaboration with him.
The 28-year-old shared a video of Teni stopping him on the road on social media on Thursday.
In the video, Teni said Davido must be on her album by force.
“Crazy night when lil sis @tenientertainer saw me in traffic chased me down to get in the studio …we finally made a classic that same week I think!
“Her album ‘Wondaland’ out this month! A lot of pple don’t know we grew up together in Atlanta .. I’m so proud u made that decision,” he captioned the posts.
Teni also shared the video on Instagram and Twitter.
“I love you King @davido,” She said on Instagram.
On Twitter she wrote, “Mama said go for what you want!!!! Love you @davido #ForYou.”
Teni in a tweet praised Davido for staying 8 hours over shoot on January 25.
She said, ““Davido came to my shoot, stayed 8hours did everything we wanted and more @davido thank you thank you 😩😩 WE HAVE A HIT ON THE WAY!!!”
In another tweet Teni shared a video of herself and Davido in a car with a convoy.
Teni unveiled the cover art and track list of her album Wonderland on Monday.
She said, “The time is near….. And the album shall be called “WONDALAND” 🦋 #MARCH2021 #WONDALAND.”
Davidoand Teni have known each other for years.
She wrote Davido’s ‘Like Dat’ song which was released in November 2017.
