Pop star Teni, gospel singers Tope Alabi and Mercy Chinwo have been announced as the top 3 female artiste on Boomplay 2021 list.
The announcement was made on Twitter on Tuesday by the streaming network.
Rapper Olamide was also announced as the most-streamed male artiste beating Burna Boy and Omah Lay who placed second and third.
Bella Shmurda was announced as the most- searched artiste of 2021, beating Davido and Naira Marley while gospel singer Mike Abdul’s single ‘Baba Ese‘ leads as most-streamed gospel song.
Omah Lay’s ‘Godly‘ leads as most streamed song of 2021, followed by ‘Infinity’ his collaboration with Olamide, while Joeboy’s ‘Alcohol’ comes in third position.
Ruger was announced as the top rising artiste of 2021 beating Arya Starr and Tems who placed second and third.
