TG Omori defends TikToker Peller over 30 days rant challenge criticism

Video director TG Omori has come to the defense of popular TikToker Peller following backlash over his call for an end to the viral 30 Days Rant Challenge on the platform.

The challenge, which has gained widespread traction, involves Nigerians voicing their frustrations about economic hardships for 30 consecutive days.

However, Peller recently advised participants to halt the trend, warning that such mass complaints could offend the government and potentially lead to a TikTok ban in Nigeria.

Instead, he suggested that people move their grievances to Instagram or opt for physical demonstrations.

His remarks sparked mixed reactions online.

While some agreed with his perspective, others accused him of prioritizing TikTok over the struggles of Nigerians. One particularly strong reaction on X (formerly Twitter) read, “I hate this guy called Peller.”

In response, TG Omori defended Peller, writing, “Hate is a strong word, He’s just a boy.”

Omori’s comment has since fueled further debate, with some supporting his stance while others insist that Peller deserves criticism for seemingly downplaying Nigerians’ hardships.
