Singer-songwriter, Simi, has lamented the desperate desire for validation from others among young men, branding it ‘scary.’
The 31-year-old musician said this while answering questions from her fans via Twitter on Sunday.
Answering a question on the prevalence of depression in recent times, she wrote: “It’s scary and sad. Especially for young men. The struggle to keep up. The fear of failure. The desperate desire for validation. Very scary. I hope that we can let people know it’s ok to share and lean on someone when things get too heavy.”
Late in May, Simi had denied being happy about the arrest of singer, Naira Marley.
