Precious Emmanuel, one of the participants at The Voice Nigeria season 2 in 2017, delivered an impressive performance on Thursday at the service of songs of Florence Saraki, mother of former Senate President Bukola Saraki.
The occasion was held at Eko Convention Centre in Lagos.
Precious had the hosts – Saraki and his wife Toyin – and the entire guests applauding after his performance of a gospel song.
The event was attended by businesspeople and politicians and others.
Some of those who graced the occasion were former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa; Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, former governor of Ogun State Olusegun Osoba, former governor of Delta State James Ibori, former governor of Akwa Ibom State Udom Emmanuel.
Also present were the chairman of Access Holdings Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote; former presidential candidate Peter Obi; Senator Dino Melaye, media entrepreneurs Dele Momodu and Bisi Olatilo; and founder of Doyin Group of Companies Samuel Adedoyin.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Laolu Saraki.
Mrs Saraki, the Saraki family’s matriarch, died on June 18 at age 89.
