Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus, has denied reports that she was ill, insisting that there is nothing wrong with her.
The 39-year-old made the statement in an interview published by Sunday Punch.
Speculations that the Jenifa actress was ill began after she posted a picture of herself on what looked like a hospital bed on Snapchat.
She tagged the picture “Health is Wealth”, leading many of her fans to start praying for her, with some asking her to reveal the cause of her illness.
Asked about the purported illness, the actress told the newspaper that she was only diagnosed with a minor case of diarrhoea which she has since treated.
“Who told you there is anything wrong with me, are you sure that’s what you saw?
“Please go back and confirm what you actually saw. I didn’t put any such picture on my social media pages.
“I am okay and there is nothing wrong with me. I was only diagnosed with minor diarrhoea and I am perfectly well now.
“There is no cause for alarm. I have been attending events and going on movie sets,” she said.
Ogun State born Eniola is a theatre art graduate of the University of Ibadan.
She was unveiled as brand ambassador for telecommunication company Etisalat – now 9mobile – in 2016.
