Actor Alexx Ekubo has stated that there is so much negativity and bitterness in the movie industry.
The actor stated this during an interactive session with the cast of Omo Ghetto: The Saga at the just concluded Africa International Film Festival.
While appreciating Funke Akindele for her contribution to Nollywood and congratulating her for her blockbuster film, Alexx also stated that so much negativity is going on in the industry and Funke has been able to triumph in spite of the negativity.
“It is not easy to survive in this industry year in year out, there’s no much bitterness and negativity going around,” he wrote.
Alexx also commended Funke and her husband JJC Skillz for maintaining a good working relationship despite the negativity surrounding the entertainment industry especially celebrity couples.
