Bread seller turned model Olajumoke Orisaguna has shared her struggles and alleged exploitation by celebrities.

Revealing her challenges in a recent episode of the Honest Bunch podcast, Olajumoke claimed that many of the opportunities she participated in were unpaid, despite public claims to the contrary.

She specifically mentioned singer Harrysong, claiming that he did not pay her for appearing in his ‘Chacha’ music video.

“I went to Harrysong’s house in Lekki, did a dance for him in his video. He claimed he paid me N400K according to a written statement, but it is false; I did it for free. He didn’t pay me anything,” she said.

Her statement raises questions as it contradicts a now-deleted post from her social media, where she previously thanked Harrysong for allegedly gifting her N400,000.

The post had read, “Bros @iamharrysong just sent me N400,000 for play when I dey play. Plsss help me thank him oh, you don’t know what this means to me right now.”

Olajumoke further accused other celebrities of underpaying her, citing an instance where she received only N200,000 for international work.

“They used me for work and didn’t pay me. One paid me N200K after taking me to South Africa for work,” she added.

The former model had earlier opened up about her personal struggles, including enduring an abusive marriage.

Speaking on City FM, Olajumoke recounted the challenges she faced with her ex-husban Sunday Orisaguna, which began in Ire, Osun State.

She alleged that she suffered physical abuse and mistreatment from her mother-in-law, but societal pressures kept her silent.

“What I am saying now, I have never said it out before. Even in the house that was rented for me in Surulere, he would still beat me up. I did not tell TY Bello or anyone what was going on. I endured everything for my children’s sake,” she explained.

Olajumoke added that her career began to decline after separating from Sunday, as he allegedly spread false claims about her and her supporters.

“Since I separated from him, everything started going down. He started spoiling my name and saying bad things about those who helped me,” she said.

Olajumoke Orisaguna became a viral sensation in 2016 after photographer TY Bello discovered her during a photoshoot in Lagos.

Born in 1989 in Osun State, Olajumoke had previously worked as a hairstylist before moving to Lagos to sell bread in search of a better life.
