Managing director of ThisDay Newspaper Eniola Bello has remarried two years after Olufunke his wife of 23 years died of breast cancer.
The respected journalist said the wedding vows again at a brief and exclusive ceremony held on Wednesday at the Four Points by Sheraton in Lagos.
Managing director of New Telegraph Ayodele Aminu was at the ceremony. In an Instagram post, he shared a photo of himself and ThisDay publisher Nduka Obaigbena and Louis Odion, senior technical assistant on media to President Muhammadu Buhari and former Edo State information commissioner taken at the ceremony.
Airtel’s vice president, corporate communications & CSR Emeka Oparah was also at the wedding.
He shared photos from the ceremony on Facebook with the words, “This evening at Eni-B and Ayobami’s wedding party in Lagos. Few were called and even fewer were chosen for the exclusive, classy yet simple event. May the Great Architect of the Universe shower His manifold blessings upon their marriage. Amen!”
Bello’s first wife died on June 4, 2019, at New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton, UK after battling breast cancer for three years.
