Filmmaker Tchidi Chikere has called those criticising actor Yul Edochie’s marriage to his colleague Judy Austin hypocrites.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, Tchidi stated that the men are women who berated Yul for marrying a second wife and having a son with her are worse than he is.
The filmmaker also supported and hailed the actor who he called an “Odogwu”.
“Yul…Yuletide…ODOGWU!! @yuledochie Most of the men and women criticising you are WORSE in private THIS SOCIETY IS FULL OF HYPOCRITES..anyway social media is not a court..the real court lies with the law and with GOD ALMIGHTY,” he wrote.
Tchidi and his wife actress Nuella Njubigbo sparked divorce rumour in 2021 after they unfollowed each other on Instagram.
The actress also removed her husband’s name from her Instagram profile.
Nuella and Tchidi got married in a traditional wedding held in her family compound in Anambra State on March 29, 2014. They have a daughter together.
Tchidi has three other children from his previous marriage to another actress Sophia Williams.
