Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos in the 2019 elections, Jimi Agbaje, has said that three months is enough time to any the direction of a leader.
Agbaje said this on Friday on the sidelines of 100 days in office of governors and President Muhammadu Buhari after their inauguration on May 29.

Agbaje lost the election to the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
“It is 100 days since the President and most governors took the oath of office to serve and improve our lot by upholding the constitution,” Agbaje said on Twitter.
“As a people we owe them and our nation good citizenship which, among other things, require us to pray for them to be worthy, honest, fair and effective leaders; pursue peace, progress, unity and justice in the land; give them valuable insights into better governance; offer them constructive criticism, avoiding all form of flattery and deceit; ask them questions that will put them on their toes; put their Fidelity to their campaign promises to test; expose any underbelly of mediocrity, incompetence, inertia, injustice, bad governance, godfatherism or corruption around them or in their government; and support all their laudable goals and actions.”

He continued: “3 months is enough to know the direction that any leadership is going. The signs are ominous. The State and National economies are in bad shape.
“As a people we must be ready at all times to do our bit to ensure our local communities, our state & the country at large make quantum leaps rather than incremental steps. We deserve much better & must do all we can to hold our leaders to a higher standard of service.”
