Nollywood productions, Gbomo Gbomo Express, Salt and The Wages, have made the final selection of movies that will be screened at the Zanzibar International Film Festival (ZIFF), Tanzania.
Gbomo Gbomo Express, which is a comedy film, centres on kidnap, and features Ramsey Nouah, Osas Ajibade and Alexx Ekubo.
It was directed by Big Brother Africa 2006 director, Walter Taylor.
Walter was also the director of The Wages, a short film based on the struggles and temptations of a young Nigerian man and his mother, starring Shan George, Gbenro Ajibade and rapper, Ikechukwu.
Salt was directed by Umar Turaki.
The three Nigerian movies will be joining 90 other movies selected for final screening and showcasing at the largest film, music and arts festival in East Africa.
The week-long event, set to start on July 9 and end July 17, has a record of 490 film submissions from 32 countries.
