Actress and broadcaster Omotunde Adebowale, popularly known as Lolo 1, has alleged that her polling unit in Ajah, Lagos State was attacked by thugs during the presidential and national assembly elections on Saturday.
The 45-year-old made the allegation in a video posted on social media, which has been shared by many people.
“Ajah polling unit was scattered with thugs brandishing juju.
“I vowed I was going to vote and I walked miles to perform my civic duty but alas … this is Nigeria!” Lolo wrote.
There were reports of violence in other parts of Lagos with supporters of the opposition the Labour Party (LP) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) accusing the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of intimidation.
