TikToker Peller apologises to Burna Boy’s mum over fashion event encounter

TikToker Hamzat Habeeb, popularly known as Peller, has apologised to Burna Boy’s mother Bose Ogulu following criticism over their encounter at a recent fashion event.

A viral video had earlier shown the content creator greeting Mrs Ogulu in a manner many deemed inappropriate.

In response, Burna Boy’s mum appeared to ignore him, sparking widespread controversy online.

While Peller initially described the situation as a misunderstanding, the backlash persisted.

The issue resurfaced during a live TikTok session late Tuesday with singer Teniola Apata, known as Teni.

While expressing her desire to collaborate with Burna Boy, Teni addressed the controversy, questioning Peller about his encounter with the Grammy winner’s mum.

In response, he explained that he was over excited at the event and didn’t know who Mrs Ogulu was.

Teni then urged him to properly acknowledge and apologise to the respected talent manager.

Peller did as he was advised, saying “I’m sorry ma,” although the apology betrayed a hint of jest.
