Singer and songwriter, Timaya, on Wednesday celebrated his birthday as he clocked 38.
The ‘Ukwu’ singer took to Instagram to share a picture of his himself and his newborn son, Emmanuel while appreciating God for adding another year to his age.
“GOD I thank u for adding another beautiful year and I appreciate everything you have done in my life.
“Had to rush to ATL to spend time with my lil man, I so wish my gals where here EMMA & GRACEY. I’m so fulfilled that I don’t even know what to say,” he wrote.
Timaya has three children -Emma, Gracey and Emmanuel- from two different women.
He began his solo career in 2005 with the release of ‘Dem Mama’, which also appeared on his debut album, True Story released the following year.
His second album Gift and Grace was released in 2008.
Timaya won two awards in 2008 Album of the Year at Nigeria Music Awards and Best Reggae/Dancehall album at the Headies Awards.
