Singer Timaya has congratulated his colleagues Wizkid and Terms for winning the Best Collaboration category at the BET Awards.
The 2022 award ceremony was held on Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The BET Awards celebrate Black excellence in music, culture and sports.
Wizkid and Tems won for their hit song ‘Essence’ which featured American star Justin Bieber.
Congratulating them in Twitter on Monday, Timaya wrote: “Big Wiz X Big Tem #BETAwards.”
Tems was nominated alongside Fireboy, Dave (U.K.) Dinos (France) Fally Ipupa (Democratic Republic of the Congo) Little Simz (U.K.) Ludmilla (Brazil) Major League DJz (South Africa) Tayc (France) for the Best International Act category which she won.
This is the first international award Tems is receiving for her own record while for the night, she already received an award for her record with Wizkid and Justin Bieber.
