Singer and songwriter, Timi Dakolo, has denied that his wife has suffered from trauma since making rape allegations against Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) senior pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo.
A follower had replied an Instagram post, writing: “So many foolish people speaking up. There’s no trauma in speaking up, instead it helps the victim.“
Responding, Timi Dakolo wrote: ““My wife is fine, don’t mind them.”
In posts on social media on Thursday, Timi disputed the claim that Fatoyinbo officiated his wedding to Busola Dakolo.
False reports had claimed that the Abuja-based clergyman had wedded the couple and sponsored a trip to Chicago for Busola.
Last Friday, Busola Dakolo had accused Fatoyinbo of raping her in an interview with Chude Jideonwo on YNaija TV.
In the interview, the celebrity revealed that as a teenager in the Divine Delight Club, the precursor to COZA, she was groomed and sexual abused by the pastor.
Fatoyinbo has since denied the allegations. However, he has stepped down as senior pastor of COZA due to pressure over the allegation.
