Founder and senior pastor of House on the Rock Paul Adefarasin has announced two commemorative events to celebrate his 60th birthday.
The clergyman clocked the diamond age on Wednesday, January 25.
In a message posted on Instagram early on his birthday, the convener and host of The Experience gospel concert said “in this reflective season of a milestone anniversary, I must say that I am soberly beholden to the eternal Father of all grace for each and every year that He has granted and gifted to me as a blessing in more ways and means than I could ever totally fathom.
“I am deeply grateful for my families, their extensions and the fold of friends and foes that he has blessed me with.”
He added that two commemorative events will hold at his church’s Rock Cathedral in Lekki, Lagos on Saturday, January 28 to celebrate the birthday.
Among those expected at the events are Timi Dakolo, Mike Abdul, Moses Bliss and the Lagos Metropolitan Gospel Choir (LMGC).
His wife Ifeanyi Adefarasin also celebrated the man she got married to in 1995 with an Instagram post beginning with the words “My man is 60….”
Continuing, she said, “Adeolu, you have given me so much more than we both thought was possible – a home that we both can retreat into, children that stir up a posture of gratitude in us, and a love that continues to be driven by purpose and eternity.”
The 50-year-old enjoined her husband to enjoy every minute of his 60th birthday, reminding him that she loves him and always will.
