Singer, Timi Dakolo, has posed for photographs with Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri, and his deputy, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo.
Famous for his 2011 song ‘Great Nation’, Timi, a native of Bayelsa, shared a picture taken with the new administrators of the state on Instagram on Monday.
Timi had teased his followers on Instagram nearly a week ago after he posed for a photograph inside an office in the Bayelsa State Government House.
“I would just let your imagination do the rest,” he said.
Mr Diri recently described himself as a ‘miracle governor’ following his assumption of office in mid-February after the Supreme Court nullified the victory of candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) over certificate forgery.
The apex court’s judgement returned Bayelsa to the hands of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) which has controlled the state for decades.
