Singer and songwriter, Timi Dakolo, has released a statement on behalf of his family thanking Nigerians for supporting his wife since making rape allegations against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo.
Busola Dakolo accused Fatoyinbo of raping her in an interview with Chude Jideonwo on YNaija TV.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, Timi thanked Nigerians for supporting her and urged rape victims to speak out.
In his first social media post after the allegations were published, Timi Dakolo had praised his wife for speaking and dared the pastor to sue his family.
In the interview, Busola Dakolo revealed that as a teenager in the Divine Delight Club, the precursor to COZA, she was groomed and raped by the pastor.
She said it happened while she was a 16-year-old secondary school student living with her parents in Ilorin, Kwara State.
