National leader of the All Progressives Congress Bola Tinubu on Tuesday returned to Nigeria following a trip overseas.
Tinubu was sighted in viral photos arriving at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos with his aides.
His spokesman Tunde Rahman confirmed the former Lagos governor “came back into the country today after a trip overseas”.
Mr Rahman was quiet on the country visited and purpose of the trip.
Tinubu’s absence was noticed last Thursday when President Muhammadu Buhari visited Lagos to commission some projects.
Many APC stalwarts including Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila; Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; minister of works and housing, Babatunde Fashola, among others, were present at the occasion.
