Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu on Tuesday celebrated Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike on his 55th birthday.
In a Twitter thread, Tinubu called Wike by his nickname “Mr Project” and prayed that the governor would enjoy robust health.
“Warm congratulations to Governor Wike @GovWike on turning 55. My prayer for Mr. Project is that God Almighty grant him robust health, imbue him with the energy, strength, and give him the grace of long life to continue to impact the lives of the people of Rivers State and Nigeria as profoundly as he has been doing. God bless Governor Nyesom Wike,” Tinubu wrote.
Wike cut his birthday cake at the government’s house in Port Harcourt.
He was joined in his birthday celebration by his wife, Eberechi, and his political associates.
Meanwhile, Tinubu promised to end insecurity bedevilling Kaduna State and other parts of the country if elected president.
Tinubu made the pledge at the north-west presidential rally and inauguration of campaign of gubernatorial and National Assembly candidates of the party, on Tuesday in Kaduna.
“All those trouble makers, kidnappers, killers who are terrorising security of Kaduna, I assure you we will eliminate them,” he said.
