National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu has commiserated with presidential aide Sarki Abba over the death of his mum Aisatu Abba.
Mr Abba is the special assistant on domestic, household matters and social events to President Muhammadu Buhari.
His mother died in Yola last weekend at the age of 96 while she was buried on Sunday, October 10 in Jimeta, Yola.
Tinubu in a condolence letter on Tuesday urged Abba to accept his mother’s death as Allah’s will.
The former Lagos State governor said he understood that the deceased was a community leader and a deeply religious woman who devoted her life to her children, humanity and the worship of Allah.
“My condolences must also go to the Adamawa Emirate Council, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, and the government and people of Adamawa State.
“I pray that Allah grant them the fortitude to bear this loss. May He also grant the soul of Hajiya Aisatu Aljanna Firdaus. (Amin),” said Tinubu.
The deceased left behind two sons and several grandchildren.
