Presidential aspirant Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after a 10-day trip to the United Kingdom.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain arrived in the country on Sunday at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
The former senator and governor was welcomed by members of his campaign team for the 2023 presidential election.
While away, Tinubu had meetings with the UK chapter of the APC.
The UK APC also debunked allegations that he was sick and required medical attention.
Tinubu’s trip came barely three weeks after he informed President Muhammadu Buhari of his ambition to contest the presidential election.
He had visited Niger and Katsina in January as part of consultations for his ambition.
In Minna, Niger State, Tinubu met former military ruler Ibrahim Babangida who would later throw his weight behind another presidential aspirant Bukola Saraki.
