Singer Tiwa Savage has addressed claims that she does not like collaborating with female artistes.
The 44-year-old has been accused of refusing to collaborate with her female counterparts on several occasions mostly because she does not have a song with Yemi Alade.
However, on Monday a music blogger shared clips of the many female collaborations in the African music industry on Instagram in which Tiwa was mentioned in many.
Reacting to the post, Tiwa pointed out that she has the most collaboration with a female artiste.
She wrote: “But they ALWAYS want to say TIWA SAVAGE does not like or support female artists. Please who has more female collabs and There is sooo many more not even listed here. Yall miss me with that bull sh$t narrative, I dey hustle … money on my mind.”
Some of Tiwa’s collaborations with other female singers include ‘Onye’ featuring Waje, ‘Stamina’ featuring Arya Starr, ‘Tales By Moonlight’ featuring Amaarae, ‘Yes I Do’ with Ghanaian singer Becca and ‘Men Are Crazy’ featuring Simi which will be released on Friday.
