Nigerian pop stars Burma Boy, Olamide, Kizz Daniel, Davido, Falz and Tiwa Savage on Sunday put up spectacular performances at the Born in Africa Festival (
The event held at Eko Atlantic City also featured continental stars Awilo Longomba and Sho Madjozi.
Sponsored by Tiger Beer, BAFEST was borne out of a desire to celebrate the unparalleled dynamism of the true African spirit and tell the African story in all its glory.
A Tiger corner was set up at the festival, which featured a graffiti photo area complete with a graffiti wall and car for photo opportunities.
Guests were also treated to 360-degree videos and photos upon entrance into the Tiger corner.
“It was a surreal experience, seeing allthese talented individuals on stage. Everything about the show was proudlyAfrican as well as edgy and stylish. From the arts section, to the fashion, stage design, the performances, and the event theme. It reminded me of why theAfrican culture is so beautiful, I’m glad I witnessed this,” an attendee at theshow said.
Echoing similar sentiments, marketingdirector, Nigerian Breweries Plc, Emmanuel Oriakhi said, “This has been a landmark year for Tiger Beer. Since its launch, we have sought out ways tobring the brand closer to its consumers.

Tiger Beer will also be hosting a party on December 22 at the African Artist Foundation Centre in Lekki featuring alternative musical acts in the Nigerian music industry.
