Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has stirred conversation online after showcasing one of her tattoos during a livestream with TikTok influencers Peller and Jarvis.
During a livestream on Wednesday, Tiwa engaged in lighthearted discussions with the two content creators where she revealed and explained the significance behind some of her body tattoos.
The interaction took a surprising turn when Peller intrigued by Tiwa’s tattoos suggested getting one for Jarvis.
Tiwa asked Jarvis if she was interested in getting a tattoo to which she humorously replied that she’d like one on her backside.
However, the moment that sparked the most attention came when the mother of one briefly pulled down her panties to reveal a tattoo around her waist to the influencers, a gesture that quickly became a topic of heated debate online.
While some viewers admired her openness and saw no issue with her showing her body art, others found the gesture inappropriate.
Critics voiced concerns on social media, arguing that music star’s actions were not suitable for the young audience tuning in.
Many pointed out that as a prominent public figure, Tiwa Savage should be more mindful of her influence especially in front of younger individuals like Peller and Jarvis.

On the flip side, Tiwa’s supporters quickly came to her defense.
They argued that she was simply showing off her tattoo and that the backlash was exaggerated.
