Singer Tiwa Savage has mourned the victims of the #EndSARS protest, who died at Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos while protesting against police brutality and bad governance.
The singer who is currently in the news over a sex tape scandal shared an Instagram video on Wednesday singing and advocating for the victims to mark the first anniversary of the #EndSARS protest.
The music video which is a throwback song talks about the events of October 20. The lyrics of the song say, “We will not forget, this is not the end, who gave the order?”
Other celebrities like Kate Henshaw, Falz and Mr Macaroni have also paid tribute to the victims of the shooting.
While Kate penned down a message in an Instagram post on Wednesday, Falz and Mr Macaroni led the #EndSARS memorial protest at the Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos.
