It has taken them five months, but Tiwa Savage and husband, Tee Billz, have finally unveiled their son.
The singer Friday uploaded an image of the boy on Instagram with the caption “My Little Christmas Teddy Bear”.
Tiwa has been called different names for playing games with teaser images of the baby.
A recent picture of the boy’s legs posted on social media generated hate filled comments.
In an interview with Genevieve magazine earlier this month, the Mavin act revealed that the decision to keep her son’s face hidden was her husband’s.
“Well that’s his dad’s decision. Every mother wants everyone to see the picture of her baby. I want everyone to see how cute he is but I understand my husband’s perspective too. He is the head of the house so I have to respect his wishes,” she said.
The 35-year-old continued, “Eventually we will reveal his face but for now he wants only close family and friends to have the special moment to bond and not share it with the world yet.”
Tiwa Savage got married to Tunji ‘Tee Billz’ Balogun in a star-studded ceremony on November 23, 2013.
They welcomed their son, named Ivory, on July 22, 2015, in the United Kingdom.
