Pop singer, Tiwa Savage, has been announced as one of the performers at the 2019 edition of the Wireless Festival.
Tiwa Savage will be the first female African artist to perform at the prestigious event.
She will join a powerful line up of artists that include Cardi B, Migos, Travis Scott, Future and ASAP Rocky.
The news was announced in a tweet from the verified account of the Wireless Festival on Wednesday.
“NEWS! @oneacen, @unofficialTHEY, @lottoboyzz, @lilyachty & @TiwaSavage are joining the #WirelessFest line up 💥💯,” they wrote.
In a tweet on Sunday, Tiwa Savage accused women of trying to undermine her achievements, explaining that her success should motivate them instead of making them jealous.
She revealed that men rarely try to downplay her achievements.
Wireless Festival is a music festival in England that takes place every year in London.
It has been owned and managed by Live Nation since its inception in 2005.
