Pop singer, Tiwa Savage, has announced she would be releasing a new song that would serve as an ‘anthem’ for women.
The UMG singer, who recently released ‘49-99’, her first single with Motown Records, announced on Wednesday via Instagram that she would be dropping a new song.

“Dropping new music and it’s for my beautiful ladies,” she wrote with a picture of herself adorned in body chain.
Tiwa is currently locked in a copyright infringement battle with fellow musician, Danny Young, who accused her of lifting parts of his 2009 song, ‘Oju ti Tiwon’, for her ‘One’, released in 2018.

A Federal High Court in Lagos last week fixed November 5 for hearing in a suit in which Danny is demanding N205million from Tiwa and her former label, Mavin Records.
YouTube took down the video for ‘One’ in January 2019 but restored it in March due to insufficient proof to verify copyright violation.
