Senator Tokunbo Abiru (APC, Lagos East) has converted his family house into a technology hub for training the younger generation.
No fewer than 650 people have been trained at the lab, while 3,500 have also been trained offline.
Minister of Communication and Digital Economy Bosun Tijani on Wednesday toured the facility known as SAIL Innovation Lab in Ikorodu, Lagos.
He said the tour was to concretise the partnership between SAIL Lab and the Federal Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy.

He also described artificial intelligence as a barrier breaker and urged Nigerians to embrace technology.
Tijani praised Abiru, a former banker, for creating the hub which has created opportunities for residents of Ikorodu and beyond.
Also present at the tour were Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, Senator Seye Ogunlewe, Abiodun Rotinwa, Prof. Adebayo Ninalowo, the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Oba Kabiru Shotobi; Adebimpe Akinsola and Saheed Ibikunle.
