Actress Tonto Dikeh has taken to social media to mark her father’s 76th birthday with a giant cake.
On her Instagram page on Tuesday, Tonto shared a video of the cake, captioning it, “It’s my baby birthday today… Pls say a prayer for PAPAKING.”
She also expressed amazement in her post, saying, “How is this man 76 and I’m 40 @evie.bell come carry your father.”
Earlier on Tuesday, the actress opened up about her growing interest in Islam. She explained how she has been waking up to the sound of a nearby mosque for the past four years.
“I wake up to the best sound everyday for the past 4 years… It’s a sound of love and dedication, the sound of God’s beauty and love,” she revealed.
The mother of one expressed desire to contribute to a mosque, asking, “If I wanted to donate to a mosque, what do I give besides money?”
Tonto ventured into politics as the deputy governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State at the 2023 polls.
However, she stepped down from the race 48 hours before the election, throwing her support behind the APC governorship candidate Tonye Cole, who ultimately lost to Siminalayi Fubara of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
